Vestas has won a 25MW turbine contract from German developer PNE for a wind project in Lower Saxony.
The contract includes supply, installation and commissioning of seven wind turbines, as well as 20-year service agreement.
Vestas will supply one V126-3.45MW turbine with a 137 metre hub height and six V136-3.45MW units each delivered in 3.6MW power optimised mode at a 132 metre hub height.
Deliveries and commissioning are expected to begin in the fourth quarter of 2021.
PNE won the Boitzenhagen wind project in Germany’s fourth wind energy auction in 2020.
