Vestas has received a 39MW wind turbine order for an undisclosed project in Italy.
The contract includes the supply and installation of 11 V136-3.45MW wind turbines delivered in 3.5MW power optimised mode.

Turbine delivery is planned for the second quarter of 2021, whilst commissioning is planned for the fourth quarter of the same year
The agreement includes a 15-year service agreement.
Since installing its first turbine in Italy in 1991, Vestas has supplied 4.3GW of installed capacity in the country and has a 40% market share.
