Vestas has secured a 50MW turbine order from envia Mitteldeutsche Energie AG for the Börnicke project in Germany.
The company stated the deal covers seven V162-7.2MW machines and includes a 20-year AOM 5000 service agreement.

Delivery is planned to begin in Q1 2027 and commissioning is scheduled to start in Q3 2027, according to Vestas.
