French renewables developer Voltalia is to sell 63MW of electricity from a 70MW wind farm Brazil to an unnamed company under a 10-year power purchase agreement.
A further 7MW from the Vila Alagoas project was secured for 20 years with power distribution companies in the 28 June energy auction, the company said.

Voltalia said the unnamed corporate PPA buyer will announce the contract in the coming days.
Both contracts will start at the end of December 2022, with the project expected to start generating power in the first half of that year.
Voltalia will sell the electricity generated on the free market through short-term contracts already secured, until the start of the long-term contracts.
