Deutsche Windtechnik X-Service has won two separate contracts to service Nordex N117 turbines for Planet Energy and Green City Energy in Germany.
The deals mean that Deutsche Windtechnik now provides maintenance for Nordex’s new generation of Gamma turbines.
Deutsche will carry out maintenance duties for three N117 units for Planet Energy’s Tomerdingen wind farm near Ulm and for four turbines Green City is to develop for the Burgerwald wind farm near Coburg.
Burgerwald is scheduled to start operating in 2017 with the maintenance contract due to begin in the first quarter of 2019.
The contract is for 20 years and has an option for a further five years.
