Renewables advisory service Aarufield and German company 8.2 Consulting have joined forces in the UK to provide technical, commercial and financial consultancy services to the wind, solar and biomass sectors.
The combined outfit, to be known as 8.2 Aarufield, has access to a network of 130 financial, electrical, mechanical engineers, operating from 28 offices globally.
It said it will provide clients with a range of services, including advisory, project leadership, contracting and operational technical support, monitoring, and intelligence.
8.2 Aarufield chaiman Julian Brown (pictured) said: “We have come together to build on each other’s success to grow the business in the UK.
“We work with investors, utilities, developers and businesses right through the supply chain to ensure they deliver projects on schedule and within budget and that they optimise their assets with the least technical and commercial risk.”
