Aquila Clean Energy has started the construction of 26 renewable energy projects across Europe in recent months amounting to more than 1GW in capacity.
Sites under construction include PV parks in Spain, Portugal and Bulgaria, wind power projects in Lithuania and Spain, and standalone BESS projects in Germany and Finland.
Aquila Clean Energy chief executive Andrew Wojtek (pictured) said: “Managing the construction of 26 projects, in six countries with a total capacity of over 1GW, is an important milestone for our company and demonstrates our commitment to the energy transition in Europe.
“The diversified technology mix of these projects, including PV, wind and BESS, is an excellent example of our vision of a renewable energy portfolio of the future – technologically broadly diversified and with built-in flexibility.”
