Renewable engineering consultancy Wind Prospect is to combine its energy resource services (ERS) team with its Chinese and Australian WISE teams to offer services throughout Southeast Asia and Asia-Pacific.
The ERS unit provides technical energy resource advice and modelling/analytical services to support wind and solar project development, design, finance and operation.
The WISE team offer data acquisition and management services for developers and equipment suppliers using bespoke software.
WISE chief executive officer Ian Besson will head up ERS focussing on business development, commercial performance and strategy across the combined businesses.
Wind Prospect senior project manager Tim Crutchley is named ERS team manager with responsibility for management and leadership of the global team.
Wind Prospect director of advisory and ERS Achim Hoehne said: “We are delighted with the new structure as we embark on servicing Asian opportunities.
Besson said: “We aim to sit as an extension to our client’s team, leveraging hands-on industry experience in planning, construction and asset management.”
