Asset manager Exus Management Partners’ North American division has surpassed 3GW of assets under management after securing 1100MW of wind and solar capacity in the third quarter of 2021.
The company said it agreed multiple new contracts in 2021, including Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners’ 700MW Travers project in Canada, the 477MW Fighting Jays solar farm in Texas, and several other wind and solar facilities.
Exus said 1GW of its portfolio will benefit from a range of pre-commission services including technical oversight from project construction and development, and 2GW of post-commission assets will benefit from Exus’ performance and financial management services.
The company will utilise its fully-integrated services to support project development, including resource analysis, grid connectivity, permits and licensing and supply chain management.
Once projects are operational, Exus will us its Rock optimisation strategy and BlueSKY monitoring platform.
Exus managing partner Jim Spencer said: “Reaching this milestone is hugely important for Exus’ North American team, but also as a global company.
“North America is a booming renewables market and I’m looking forward to continuing our work with some of the industry’s most influential players.”
“Special thanks to our growing team, across all of our services, for consistently delivering valuable insight and impact to project owners and investors.
“Equipped with a combination of technical expertise and digital tools, they consistently ensure that wind and solar projects are functioning optimally and generating strong returns.”
