Environmental consultancy Atmos Consulting has named former operations director Jean Curran as its new managing director, replacing Stewart Lowther who is stepping down to “pursue interests outside the business”.
The company also announced that Matthew Hopkins has resigned as regional director in Edinburgh.
The announcements came at the same time as Atmos Consulting confirmed a three-year framework agreement to provide environmental consultancy services to the UK renewables company Engie.
Curran said: Jean Curran said: “Our ongoing priority will be to focus our strategy on those areas where our company’s greatest strengths lie and to take full advantage of emerging business opportunities in areas including construction and infrastructure.”
Atmos Consulting chairman Gerry Jewson said: “Atmos Consulting continues to be in a strong position financially with a robust pipeline of new work, a strong reputation and great prospects for the future.
“Despite challenging conditions and continued uncertainty in the renewable energy sector, Atmos has successfully adapted its business offer and is now working on a wider range of developments than ever before.
“The new three-year framework with Engie further consolidates our position as we look to the future.”
