Broadwind Energy has won $28m in new wind turbine tower orders for delivery this year.
The towers will be produced at the company’s Manitowoc and Abilene facilities in Wisconsin and Texas, respectively.
Broadwind president and chief executive Stephanie Kushner said: “We are pleased to be starting the year off strong with this new order.
“The Broadwind team is proud to represent US manufacturing and the role we play in the wind industry in the US.”
