Czech utility CEZ has hired Jörg Kubitza as head of strategy for renewables in Germany.
Kubitza (pictured) previously worked for turbine manufacturer MHI Vestas as head of strategy and business development.
In the new role, he will be responsible for developing the renewables division in onshore and offshore wind, as well as solar and hydro.
The company had acquired almost 100MW of onshore wind farms in Germany by the end of last year.
