Chinese investors SinoFortone Group is to invest £2bn in a 299MW and a349MW biomass power stations for Orthios Eco Parks on Anglesey and in Port Talbot in Wales, respectively.
According to a report on the BBC website, approval has been granted for the two plants and the Eco Park for the production of sustainable fish and vegetables production.
The two plants will be built during the next three years, the BBC report said.
It added that heat from the plants will be recycled by hydroponic and aquaculture centres, producing prawns and vegetables.
