The Danish Energy Agency has opened a tender for onshore wind, solar and ‘open door’ offshore wind – sites the government has not tendered.
It is open until 26 November and has a price cap of Dkr0.13 a kilowatt-hour.
The budget for the tender is Dkr842m (€113m), with Dkr254M allocated to this first round and the remainder expected to be tendered next autumn.
DEA said the budget is expected to result in the equivalent of 140MW of onshore wind. However, “because it is technology neutral tendering rounds it is not known up front which technology will be awarded price premium contracts”, it added.
Bids must be given in Danish, but the tender material is also available in English.
Projects must be at a late development stage to participate in the tender and grid-connected two or four years after contract signing depending on the technology.
