Direct Energie has completed the acquisition of French renewable energy company Quadran.
Quadran has nearly 200 employees and has projects with more 500MW of installed capacity in its portfolio.
That figure is expected to increase to 800MW by the end of 2018.
Direct Energie said the deal is part of its “vertical integration strategy”.
Direct Energie chief executive Xavier Caitucoli said: “This acquisition illustrates the group’s agility and ability to pursue ambitious growth projects.”
