Denmark has allocated Dkr128m (€17m) this year for a tender for projects that develop and demonstrate new energy storage technologies at large scale.
Interested parties have until 22 October to apply, the Danish Energy Agency said.

Projects “must contain new innovative technologies or new combinations of known technologies and they are expected to be significant and of considerable size”, DEA said.
The winners of the technology-neutral tender are expected to be announced in mid-December, it added.
