Engie and Carrefour Spain have signed a power purchase agreement (PPA).
The deal will cover almost 30% of Carrefour’s consumption through Spanish solar and wind assets.

The agreement will help Carrefour reach its goal of 100% of its electricity supply coming from renewables by 2030.
With a duration of 10 years, the energy supply will come from two Engie wind farms and two Engie solar farms, representing around 180GWh/year.
This contract will contribute to achieving the objectives set out in Carrefour’s 2026 strategic plan.
