Italian energy company Eni has set up a new company with Angolan state oil company Sonangol to develop renewable energy projects in the African country.
Eni said the creation of Solenova is consistent with the Angola’s energy strategy to have 800MW of clean power capacity installed by 2025, with the main focus on utility-scale solar.
