Eon has named Anja Dotzenrath as the new chief executive of Eon Climate & Renewables, effective from 10 April.
She will replace Michael Lewis, who is to become the new CEO of Eon UK.
Dotzenrath is currently chief operating officer at Eon Climate & Renewables and has been at the German energy giant since 2011.
Eon board member Leo Birnbaum said: “I’d like to congratulate Anja Dotzenrath on her new leadership role.
“Her energy and deep knowledge of the renewables business will be crucial for the next phase of this business’s development.”
Lewis succeeds Tony Cocker, who has decided to retire from Eon to “pursue a portfolio career at end of July 2017”, the company said.
Eon has also named Marc Hoffmann as customer solutions and country chairman of Eon in Sweden, effective from 1 April.
Hoffmann is currently senior vice president for group accounting and controlling at Eon’s headquarters in Essen, having previously been chief financial officer in Sweden.
