Eon has more green electricity on average in its four German distribution grids than end-customers can use.
The company said that excess power on the grids – Avacon, Bayernwerk, E.DIS and Schleswig-Holstein Netz – is fed to the grids of the transmission system operators.
Eon said it is the first time that detailed figures on green power have been published by the four grid companies.
“The information made available on the websites of the Eon grid operators underlines the efficiency and expertise with which Eon drives the energy transition in Germany,” the company said.
