European Energy has divested the 470MW Jonava renewable energy project in Lithuania to Energix – Renewable Energies.
European Energy said the hybrid project combines around 140MW of onshore wind, 330MWp of solar PV and 320MWh of energy storage.
The company added that construction is expected to commence shortly with full commercial operation targeted for 2027.
The Jonava project has been developed from early-stage through permitting and design to a ready-to-build asset aligned with investor requirements.
By combining wind, solar and storage, the project is designed to enhance grid stability and enable more efficient use of infrastructure.
“We have been able to manage a complex development process and deliver a project that meets the technical, regulatory, and commercial requirements of international buyers,” said Jens-Peter Zink, deputy chief executive of European Energy.
“Developing renewable energy assets to a stage where key risks are addressed and value is clearly defined, is what European Energy excels at around our many markets. This model allows us to swiftly push renewable energy deployment and recycle capital into new projects.”
