Emergya Wind Technologies (EWT) has installed a DirectWind 54-900kW turbine for Yasar Gida, a machine construction and agricultural business in Ipsala in Turkey.
The turbine is connected to the plant’s electrical network to also provide power for a rice processing plant.
The plant is mainly used as an R&D centre for machines that are manufactured and exported to 30 countries worldwide.
EWT chief executive officer Mark Jones: “We believe that EWT will be able to meet the energy needs of Yasar Gida for many years to come and, similarly, supply the energy needs of many other Turkish companies with our proven technology, commercial and service support”.
