Exus Renewables has entered the UK and Irish markets with the opening of a regional office in Cambridge as part of its international growth strategy.
The company said the move follows the appointment of Declan Keiley as UK and Ireland country manager and establishes a platform for long-term value creation in both markets.
It added that it has a strong global track record in developing, acquiring and managing renewable energy assets and aims to partner with local developers to accelerate high-quality projects.
In the near term, the new team will focus on building a pipeline of asset management and investment opportunities, including acquiring projects at different stages where Exus can support progress towards final investment decision.
Exus will also provide energy services to third-party assets using its technical, commercial and operational expertise, according to the company.
It said it will pursue opportunities in energy and digital infrastructure to support energy-intensive customers, including integrated energy solutions for data centres and industrial users.
Declan Keiley, UK and Ireland country manager for Exus Renewables, said: “We are extremely pleased to enter the UK and Ireland markets at such an exciting time in their renewable energy transitions.
“As the dust settles on grid reform, we are keen to establish long-term development partnerships and extend our proven asset management expertise to both countries.”
The Cambridge-based team expects steady growth supported by recruitment of technology and finance specialists, the company stated.
It added that the office near Mill Road will work with local developers and stakeholders to advance renewable projects using Exus’s international experience in development, financing, construction oversight and asset management.
