Spain’s Exus Management Partners has surpassed 10GW of assets under management following several substantial global deals in 2022.
The latest figure of 10.7GW is comprised of 6.9GW in solar assets and 3.8GW of wind assets across ten countries in Europe, North America, and Latin America.
The company has added 1.7GW of capacity so far this year, including Vitol’s 244MW wind farms in Pennsylvania and the signing of the 1GW Riacho da Serra solar development project in Brazil.
Responding to industry trends and needs, the business recently secured significant repowering and hybrid contracts for close to 800MW under management in North America and Europe.
Exus said the 240MW Big Sky repowering in Illinois and 85MW Pisco wind and solar project in Portugal are examples within a growing pipeline of work “intended to maximise customer value through project optimisation and innovation”.
Additionally, 2022 has seen Exus “accelerate exploration” of battery storage and hydrogen opportunities, expanding technical capabilities and skills as the sector evolves.
Operating across the entire value chain and lifecycle of renewables projects, the business currently manages 6.4GW of operational assets, with a further 4.3GW in development and construction phases.
“We are immensely proud to have exceeded 10GW of assets under management across our global portfolio,” said Carlos Tello, co-founder and COO at Exus Management Partners.
“Without the phenomenal skills and tireless work of every colleague this would not be possible.
“The latest projects are a testament to that.
“We look forward to continuing our work with some of the industry’s most influential players, and celebrating the next 10GW, as we deliver first-rate support and strategic advice on the global path to a cleaner and more secure future.”
