Acciona Energia posted a 52% increase in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) and a net attributable profit of €759m (+109%) in 2022.
High energy prices contributed to the positive results.

PPAs closed, include those with (which integrates some of the main industrial groups in Spain), Interxion, Mango, Makro, ZEN Energy and Barwon Renewable Energy Partnership (BREP).
Bloomberg NEF distinguished ACCIONA Energia last year as the third company that signed the most green contracts of this type in the world.
The rest of the revenues in 2022 correspond to Acciona Energia’s wholesale generation business, which reached €2.2bn (+47.7%), distributed between Spain (€1.5bn) and the rest of the countries in which it operates (€685m), mainly Chile, Mexico and Australia.

Overall, capacity under construction as of 31 December 2022 stood at 2.2GW, of which the company expects to finish nearly 1.8GW in 2023.
