Aker Offshore Wind Holding has successfully placed 340,136,054 shares in the new company via a private placement raising about Nkr500m (€47m).
The placement attracted strong interest from existing shareholders in Aker Solutions, as well as institutional Nordic and international investors, the company said.
Aker ASA, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Aker Horizon, has been allocated 217,687,074 shares in Aker Offshore Wind.
Aker ASA’s total direct and indirect ownership in the company will be 51%.
Completion of the placement is conditional upon the necessary corporate resolutions in the Aker Solutions’ subsidiary being made and the offer shares having been fully paid and validly issued.
Settlement instructions are expected to be distributed on 14 August, with payment date on or about 20 August and delivery of offer shares to the subscribers on 26 August.
Following issuance Aker Offshore Wind will have an issued share capital of Nkr612,078,807 divided into 612,078,807 shares, each with a par value of Nkr1.
