Aream Advisory has acquired 100 per cent of the share capital of GME Ventures, a transaction which includes a 500MWp pipeline of ground-mounted solar systems.
The GME Ventures AG team has many years of expertise across the entire PV project development value chain, including in the areas of technology, contracting, urban land-use planning and asset structuring, Aream said in a release.
The aim of the acquisition and integration is to strengthen project development capacities and accelerate the implementation of the pipeline, the German asset manager added.
Markus Voigt, CEO of the Aream Group said: “The acquisition will enable us to grow faster and, thanks to the acquired project pipeline, increase the potential of future renewable energy plants, especially in combination with battery storage systems, for our institutional investors.
“If further opportunities for external growth arise, we will also take advantage of them.”
Christian Schnaidt, Fabian Pramel and Jörn Preuth, managing directors of Aream Advisory GmbH, as well as Falko Krause and Michael Reck, members of the executive board of GME Ventures AG, are overseeing the integration into the Aream Group.
The value of the acquisition was not disclosed.
