Indian renewables developer Azure Power has closed $88m financing for the 200MW Bhadla solar farm in Rajasthan.
The project, which was secured in an auction conducted by Solar Energy Corporation of India, is expected to be commissioned in 2019.

Azure Power founder, chairman and chief executive Inderpreet Wadhwa said: “We are pleased to announce the closing of financing for our 200MW plant in Bhadla.
“This financing is a testament to our strong financing, project development, engineering and execution capabilities.”
No details were given on the source of the finance.
