Brookfield Renewable Energy revenue rose to $2982m in 2018, up from $2625m the previous year.
The Canadian company said the growth was driven by acquisitions, such as boosting its stake in TerraForm Power, and newly-commissioned facilities, including wind and solar assets in Spain.
It generated 25,753 gigawatt-hours of electricity last year, up from 23,968GWh in 2017.
Hydro accounted for 20,305GWh in 2018, down from 21,051GWh, while wind jumped to 4176GWh from 2533GWh.
Solar generation also grew to 753GWh in 2018, from 56GWh in 2017.
Brookfield said its wind assets delivered $160m of the $676m funds from operations in 2018, with solar and storage providing $104m.
“Over the last 18 months, we more than tripled the installed capacity of our wind fleet through large-scale and tuck-in acquisitions, and development projects coming online,” the company said.
“Given that we now have a portfolio of wind assets across 10 countries and four continents, this geographic diversification provides a significant mitigating benefit to resource variability and is a good example of why we prioritise diversification as a key value driver of our business,” it added.
