Adjusted earnings from renewables in the fourth quarter of last year at Canadian energy company Enbridge rose almost 23% to C$146m (€95m), compared with the same period of 2019.
Enbridge said this was mainly down to contributions from the Albatros (pictured) and Hohe See offshore wind farms in the German North Sea and stronger wind resources at both Canadian and US facilities.
Full year adjusted EBITDA from clean power increased C$83m to C$507m from C$424m, the company said.
It said the improvement was down to the Hohe See project, as well as reimbursements received at certain Canadian wind farms resulting from a change in operator.
Overall, the company reported adjusted EBITDA C$1132m in the fourth quarter of 2020, down from C$1228m last year, and C$13,273m for the whole of last year, which was on a par with the previous year’s C$13,271m.
