European renewables company Green Genius has signed a financing deal with Cordiant Capital to construct four solar power plants in Lithuania.
The four solar parks will have a combined total capacity of 32.6MW.
This transaction marks Cordiant’s inaugural project investment in Lithuania.
The strategic partnership will mobilise project financing to accelerate Lithuania’s push toward energy independence while supporting the EU’s ambitious 2030 renewable energy targets.
Green Genius chief financial officer Rokas Bancevičius (pictured) said: “This financing agreement is another milestone in Green Genius’s journey to empower sustainability.
“Once again, we have successfully brought a new investor to the region. We are thrilled to partner with Cordiant Capital.
“Their commitment to infrastructure investment perfectly aligns with our mission to electrify the modern world.”
Managing director of Cordiant Capital Emmanuel Braoudakis said the collaboration underscored the company’s commitment to supporting impactful projects globally.
