Siemens Gamesa has extended a green guarantee line from Danske Bank to €150m from €100m and concluded a new deal with Mizuho Bank Europe worth $140m.
The company now has green guarantee lines in place totalling €1.72bn.
Both the new lines include Sustainable Development Goals criteria.
Siemens Gamesa said it will use the funds to support its business of manufacturing and selling onshore and offshore wind turbines worldwide.
Siemens Gamesa chief financial officer David Mesonero said: “Becoming more sustainable and competitive is clearly feasible and positive, and we aim to do it at every step we take. Sustainability and ESG principles are key at every decision, including in our funding and financing strategy.”
The company added that it has installed over 99GW of wind capacity worldwide.
