Statkraft has reported an operating loss of Nkr320m (€32m) in the fourth quarter of 2020 for its wind and solar business compared with a loss of Nkr6m in the fourth quarter of 2019.
The company reported Nkr356m in operating profit for its overall business in Q4 2020 against Nkr5.2bn in the same quarter in 2019.
The average Nordic system price in the further quarter was €13.7 megawatt-hour, a decrease of 65% compared with the same quarter in 2019.
Total generation was 17.2 terawatt-hours in the quarter, a decrease of 3%.
The decrease, related to both Nordic hydropower and German gas-fired power, was partly offset by higher generation from new wind power assets.
Underlying EBIT in the fourth quarter for the whole group was Nkr1.5bn, a decrease of Nkr3.8bn compared with the corresponding quarter.
