Two business units at Deutsche WindGuard have gained approval as testing laboratories for power performance and anemometer calibration from the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC).
Deutsche WindGuard Consulting and Deutsche WindGuard Wind Tunnel Services have finished the approval process for the IEC System for Certification to Standards Relating to Equipment for Use in Renewable Energy Applications (IECRE).
“The certificate provides customers with measurement reports and calibration certificates according to IEC 61400-12-1, which are globally accepted by all manufacturers and member bodies,” Deutsche WindGuard said.
The IECRE system was launched by the IEC to facilitate international trade in equipment and services for use in renewable energy sectors, the company added.
