Global Marine Systems has named Mikkel Gleerup sales & commercial director, while Darren Lam is the new managing director of SB Submarine Systems (SBSS), a company joint venture in China.
Gleerup (pictured) will take up the role in mid-May and will be based in the UK with global responsibility for sales.
He joined Global Marine as MD at SBSS in 2014.
Lam will be based in Shanghai from the start of May.
He was previously senior project manager at Global Marine.
Gleerup said: “With the growth, particularly, in the offshore renewables sector, I’ll be looking to secure opportunities for the business in line with the company’s growth plans.”
Lam said: “In my project management capacity at Global Marine, I have developed a strong understanding of the clients’ expectations and rationale, and how internal business and project management process can be leveraged to enhance total customer satisfaction, which in my opinion, is essential for success.”
