TenneT has provisionally awarded the contract for the Noordwest 380kV and Zuidwest 380kV West links in the Netherlands to Heijmans and Europoles.
Both projects will improve the transport and distribution of electricity from new generation facilities such as offshore wind farms.
The partners will design and build the high-voltage pylons and foundations for the connections for about €200m, Dutch contractor Heijmans said.
The Noordwest 380kV project will replace an existing 220kV connection between Eemshaven and Vierverlaten, while the new Zuidwest 380kV West link will double the capacity of the Borssele-Rilland grid.
They will comprise innovative Wintrack II pylons, which are partly made of concrete.
The contract is expected to be granted at the end of January 2017.
