Wind Energy Hamburg is targeting a global impact with more than 100 to be represented among the 1400 exhibitors attending.
The event, which runs alongside a WindEurope conference, will focus on the global perspective and innovative developments in the sector.
The expo, with its core theme of “dynamic markets”, hopes to provide an ideal platform for visitors to identify new markets, build networks and nourish key relationships.
The WindEurope conference will address some of the challenges in new wind markets and cover topics such as “The next big thing? Saudi Arabia and Russia”, and “Offshore wind outside Europe: a look at the US, Taiwan and Japan”.
Hamburg Messe und Congress president and chief executive Bernd Aufderheide said: “Political representatives and energy experts from around the world will be able to gain a comprehensive overview of the best ways to utilise wind energy in various growth markets, and meet up with companies from all parts of the value chain.
“Driven by ambitious onshore and offshore development goals, the entire global market is currently experiencing a highly dynamic phase.”
