Funds managed by IFM Investors have agreed to acquire the remaining 50% stake in Nala Renewables from Trafigura Renewables.
IFM said the transaction will result in full ownership of Nala upon completion, which is expected in mid-2026 subject to regulatory approvals.
It added that Nala has a portfolio of more than 2GW across solar PV, onshore wind and battery storage, primarily in Europe.
IFM noted the deal reflects its conviction in long-term renewable power demand driven by energy security and low-carbon generation needs.
“I would like to thank Trafigura for their valuable partnership and contribution to the growth of Nala over the past six years,” said Neil Doherty, executive director at IFM Investors.
“We are excited to support Nala’s next phase of growth and to accelerate the energy transition by building a best-in-class renewable platform.”
“Over the past six years, Trafigura is proud to have played a part in developing Nala into a leading renewable energy platform,” said Jiri Zrust, global head of operating assets at Trafigura.
“We are pleased that IFM will take Nala through its next phase of growth.”
