The McGregor unit of Finnish outfit Cargotec has delivered mooring systems to Statoil and Masadar’s 30MW Hywind Scotland floating offshore wind demonstration project.
The systems will be installed when hubs are complete at the project, located 30km off the coast of northeast Scotland.
Featuring five 6MW Siemens turbines, Hywind is scheduled to come online later this year.
