Neoen has reached 3300MW of renewable energy capacity in operation or under construction in Australia.
The 3.3GW consists of 2GW of generation capacity evenly split between solar and wind farms and 1.3GW of battery storage.
Neoen is targeting around 10GW in operation or under construction in Australia by 2030 with a multi-billion dollar forward investment plan.
To date, Neoen has invested more than A$4bn ($2.4bn) and accounts for approximately 10% of Australia’s utility-scale solar capacity, 10% of Australia’s wind capacity and 45% of Australia’s grid scale battery storage.
Achieving 3GW of capacity has involved thousands of individuals and groups across five different states of Australia including 77 host landowning families, 13 traditional owner groups and 15 regional communities.
It has delivered more than 2,500 construction jobs and 135 permanent jobs.
Neoen Australia has grown from a small team in Sydney to 100 staff members working across seven offices, with a footprint in every state.
