NKT will move its headquarters to Nordhavn in Copenhagen from January 2026 as the company continues its expansion.
The cable manufacturer said the relocation to Amerika Plads 29 will provide additional space, modern facilities and better transport connections for its 140 head office staff.
The new site, designed by PLH Arkitekter and completed in 2017, features an open atrium and has an A-rated energy certification.
Chief executive Claes Westerlind said: “We want to promote a versatile and thriving work environment for all and given the progress we have achieved in recent years, it became evident that we required additional space and enhanced working facilities.”
NKT has had its headquarters in Brøndby since 1944 but will retain its Service and Installation operations at the Priorparken site.
Founded in Copenhagen in 1891, the company now employs more than 6000 people across 16 countries.
