Norwegian consultancy and software developer WindSim is partnering with Chinese company Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group to collaborate on the development and promotion new technological solutions for the wind power industry.
WindSim chief technical officer and founder Arne Gravdahl said the “alliance represents an important milestone in the history of both companies and can potentially make a significant contribution to new advances in the wind power industry”.
The company’s flagship product is a software solution based on computational fluid dynamics that combines advanced numeric processing with 3D visualization in a user-friendly interface.
Shanghai Electric Wind Power Group is leading player in the wind power industry and has research and development and core technology in areas such as machine design, equipment production and digital operation and maintenance.
