Orsted is to reorganise its business in Europe into three new divisions – development, generation, and trading & revenue.
The move is a result of successful expansion into new markets and expansion in existing markets, a company source said.

It is hoped that the new structure will enable a simpler and more focused approach to Orsted’s markets.
Orsted has transformed over recent years from a development and growth-driven company to also being an operator at international scale, they said.
For example, in offshore wind alone, is has almost 10GW in operation globally, which is expected to grow to 20-22GW offshore wind by 2030.
