ABL Group has appointed Peter Croll to lead its marine warranty survey (MWS) and transportation and business (T&L) offering to the offshore renewables.
In his new role of global technical director Croll will act as a global technical authority to “strategically position” ABL to service continued substantial growth in the offshore wind MWS sector.
Croll, based in London, has specialist experience in subsea cable laying engineering, design and MWS.
He has been “instrumental in building ABL’s renewables MWS track record” in China and Taiwan as well as in the US and Europe.
Croll’s portfolio also includes MWS on WindFloat Atlantic.
Peter will also lead the transition of MWS skills for offshore wind farms, to other emerging technologies, such as floating solar PV, wave and tidal energy, green hydrogen production and energy storage projects.
