The renewable’s arm of BayWa has hired Steven Ikin as joint managing director of its UK operation services business, working alongside Natasha Kumar.
Ikin (pictured) will be based in BayWa r.e.’s Milton Keynes office, and will focus on accelerating the company’s growth strategy.
He has been involved in the renewables business for 14 years in a range of roles working for an investor, operator and manufacturer, BayWa r.e. said.
BayWa r.e. director of services EMEA Max Methe said: “We’re thrilled to have Steven on board, working alongside Natasha to further strengthen our team in the UK and to support continued growth.
“Being able to hire a seasoned sustainability professional, Steven, allows us to set even more ambitious goals to ensure we continue to diversify our operation and maintenance services for new and existing customers.”
