Belgian marine contractor Deme has unveiled two new members of its board of directors.
Marieke Schoningh (left) and Gaelle Hotellier (right) were officially appointed at the company’s annual general meeting and will both serve as independent directors for a period of four years.
Schöningh has more than 30 years of experience, mostly in heavy-capex industries but also in logistics distribution.
She is currently the chief operating officer and a member of the Board of Directors of ProRail, holds a supervisory board membership at TKH Group and has previously held supervisory board roles at Delta NV and at Zuyd Hogeschool.
Hotellier has over 25 years of experience and has a strong track record in executive roles in various industries, including both corporate and family businesses, start-ups and mature organisations.
She is the chief operating officer of the Krohne Group and before this she worked for 20 years at Siemens in various divisions and locations, moving from the lighting to the industrial and power generation divisions.
Kerstin Konradsson has decided to resign as an independent director as from 15 May.
“We would like to thank her for the valuable contributions she has made since her appointment, and wish her every success in the future,” said Deme.
