Renewables developer Enterprize Energy is expanding its team with three senior hires, including Nuta Chen as the company’s new chief financial officer (CFO).
Chen (pictured), who will be based in Taiwan, brings nearly two decades of experience in Taiwan and Thailand’s renewable energy industries, specialising in operational accounting, project financing and M&A.
Prior to joining Enterprize Energy, Chen was finance director at Maiora Renewable Energy and CFO at Ciel & Terre in Taiwan.
She has worked for global financial institutions and multinational companies, including JPMorgan, Fidelity, PwC and Foxconn.
David Houlton joins in the role of business advisor and economic modeller and Woon Soon as financial consultant.
Houlton will be responsible for combining modelling and business advisory to create, specify and manage the optimal model.
He holds 30 years of senior finance experience including board advisory and financial modelling for infrastructure and real estate.
Prior to joining Enterprize Energy, Houlton held positions at BNY Mellon, Deutsche Bank, DWS and Citibank.
Woon Soon brings over 10 years of experience in multinational organisations to his role and has previously worked for companies including Ernst & Young.
Enterprize Energy has recently begun the Vietnam’s first floating lidar survey at the 3.4GW Thang Long offshore project, the only large-scale offshore wind farm to be granted a survey licence by the Vietnamese government.
The first 600MW phase of the 3.4GW Thang Long offshore wind farm is to come online by the end of 2025, with further phases developed on a rolling basis.
Enterprize Energy chairman Ian Hatton said: “We’re delighted to welcome Nuta Chen, David Houlton and Woon Soon to Enterprize Energy.
“At a time of exponential growth for the company and the industry at large, these individuals will add significant strength and experience to the team as we work with investors, governments, and close partners to deliver resource-first solutions for clean energy projects around the world, covering the entire life cycle of offshore wind projects.”
