Equinor has hired Trine Borum Bojsen as the new senior vice president of North Sea renewables.
Borum Bojson joins from her role as chief operating officer at Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and will be responsible for Equinor’s renewables business across the North Sea region.
She also previously held several senior management roles at Orsted related to business transformation in offshore wind.
Borum Bojson has worked globally across Europe, the US and Asia-Pacific, and now resides in London.
She said she is “honoured and very excited to have this opportunity to lead the great people in Equinor’s North Sea Renewables business” and added she felt “very privileged to have had the opportunity to work with so many super skilled people”.
“Now, I cannot wait to meet and learn from many new colleagues – I have no doubt we are a good match and will be growing together!
“As we construct Dogger Bank, the largest offshore wind farm in the world currently being built, develop yet more expertise in floating offshore wind, and add to our portfolio with new projects, this will be an era of evolution for Equinor and for the offshore wind industry,” Borum Bojson said.
