Eurowind Energy has appointed Søren Bæk Just (pictured) as its new chief financial officer and member of the executive board.
He will be replacing Uffe Bak-Aagaard who wants to step down in order to spend more time with his family within the next year, but will stay in the company as an executive advisor.
Søren Bæk Just is coming from a position as CFO at KK Wind Solutions.
He has previously worked for large Danish companies, such as Grundfos, Danfoss, and Vestas.
His educational background is a master’s degree in auditing and taxation from AarhusBusiness School and a bachelor’s degree in economics from Aarhus Business School and Oregon State University.
Eurowind Energy chief executive Jens Rasmussen said: “We are very pleased that Søren has accepted the offer to become a part of Eurowind Energy. We are certain that he will contribute to our continuing growth with his experience and knowledge.
“Søren is a great fit for our company with his professional competencies, knowledge of the industry, and personality.
“At the same time, we would like to thank Uffe for a great effort and contribution throughout the years.
“We are pleased that Uffe stays in the company as it allows Søren to draw on Uffe’s experience which has been built up throughout 14 years in the company.
“In this way, we will see a natural and smooth generational succession in this key position in the company.”
