Ex-Ørsted Hornsea 1 chief Hamish Yates has founded at independent renewables asset management business.
Yates, also a board member of Ørsted’s UK&I businesses as well as Hornsea 1 chief, has departed the renewables developer to become CEO of Neptune Infrastructure Associates.
Hamish leaves Ørsted this September, following four years at the company, during which he delivered and managed over 3.2GW of renewable energy assets in the UK, including Hornsea 1 and Hornsea 2 offshore wind farms.
His expertise spans senior positions across the value chain in renewables infrastructure, including technical, operational and commercial roles covering the UK, EU, US and the Asia Pacific.
Neptune Infrastructure Associates will support organisations in delivering an accelerated, value-creating energy transition by providing bespoke asset management, transaction advisory and management consultancy services to the renewables sector globally.
